US Forest Service, BFRI sign MoU

A memorandum of understanding was signed between Bangladesh Forest Research Institute and US Forest Service International Program at BFRI auditorium in Chattogram on Thursday.
BFRI director Rafiqul Haider, Compass programme project lead Abu Mostafa Kamal Uddin and officials concerned of both the organisations were present at the signing ceremony, said a press release.
The MoU will enhance the technical capacity of the researchers, including the newly-appointed research officers of BFRI. Cooperation will be enhanced between the two organisations in organising and participating in various national and international workshops, conferences, seminars and joint research on forest.
