Parents’ Meeting of YCC 2nd cohort

Parents’ Meeting of the Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) 2nd cohort was held on January 25, 2022 at La Belle, Inani, Cox’s Bazar following the COVID-19 protocol.

In the meeting, the YCC management team introduced the trainees and parents to USAID, US Forest Service, Compass, and YCC. They described the training methods, the courses, rules and regulations, parents’ consent, safety protocols, and expected outcome of the training to the participants, and responded to the queries of the parents. The parents of the novice YCC trainees signed the consent forms in the meeting. 

Parents’ meeting is an integral part of the youth selection process where parents or legal guardians of the trainees get oriented to the YCC program and the training.
