A partnership agreement was signed

USAID’s Compass Program, implemented by USDA Forest Service, recently signed a partnership agreement with the Bureau of Research, Testing and Consultation (BRTC), Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) for its authorized representative Institute of Water & Flood Management (IWFM).

The purpose of this partnership agreement is to perform research to compare the impacts of healthy versus degraded/denuded forest coverages on the hydrological (e.g., surface water) and hydrogeological (i.e., groundwater infiltration, recharge, etc.) parameters of Bangladesh and their associated monetary value.
